New Crisis Line #1-888-353-CARE(2273)

The launch of this network means all Interior Health residents now have around-the-clock access to telephone support through one toll free number: 1-888-353-CARE (2273) when they need assistance managing personal concerns.
Crisis lines are a valued community safety net offering support to callers who are facing challenges such as depression, substance abuse, poverty, spousal abuse or homelessness.
This toll free number links callers to the nearest crisis line first.  If that line is busy, the system will route the call to another Interior based crisis line.  Crisis lines are often the first step people take when facing personal issues.

Parents Together Group

Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to remind you about the parents of teens group (Parents Together) which is held at the Family Resource Centre every Wednesday from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.
Parents Together is an ongoing program for parents of teens. Any caregiver of a teen who would like to better understand the dynamics of the adolescence, improve their relationship with their youth or who is struggling with parenting issues is very welcome to join us at any time. The program's purpose is both education and group support.
Can you please provide this information to any caregivers (parents, foster parents, grandparents..) who may benefit from this group. For more information they can call the Family Centre 250-832-2170 or Susie 250-833-6406. I have also attached a poster.
Thanks so much for your help. I would love to build up this group!
